So, then, how did she come by Bluette?
jon's dad is 100% born and raised (until age 12) swiss. then he came to the u.s. with his family:
father: pierre
mother: bluette
brothers: pierre, andre, and
himself: claude
when i first heard bluette, i thought it was kind of homely, but then it totally grew on me. and then i wondered if it was too "alternative." but i kind of like the homely alternative mixture. and now i just think it's so pretty and dainty and feminine--just like my little monsty monst (leah's old nickname that i'm trying to resurrect.) it actually means "glisten" in french, according to my french friend's extensive vocab and 12" thick dictionary. and boy does she glisten!
When did her eyes go green? Or do you know?

i think they've progressively become greener over the last year and a half. and now there's nothing blue about them. they are actually quite an amalgamation of green, gray, darkness. very pretty indeed.
